The diploma of this Master 2 is awarded by the University of Pays de la Loire Nantes and the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research. Teaching objectives The Master of Civilizations, Cultures and Societies is a professional and research Master. Each student follows a global course of study structured over two years of study during which: It acquires knowledge, interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and transversal know-how; He is an actor in a creative and innovative pedagogy; He has international experience; It promotes its skills through internships and projects in connection with cultural, scientific and business institutions; He benefits from professional support from the University of Nantes. Faced with new territorial challenges, the transformation of professional spaces and technological innovations, the Master "Mediation, expertise and cultural enhancement" renews its training offer to meet the demands of territorial, national and international economic actors and to anticipate the future requirements of the cultural and artistic, scientific, economic and social sector. Teaching criteria This project is part of a promising context for research, training and innovation in order to: develop a cross-training LLSHS, science and technology and digital with a resolutely international experience by promoting bi and triple degrees with European and international partner universities; strengthen the rapprochement between students through privileged partnerships with other training courses and with the economic fabric for a better integration of students; conduct interdisciplinary research with the aim of developing original and collaborative heuristic and epistemological thinking through research programmes and structures set up at regional, national, European or even international level. The integration of research into training also aims to involve some of the most motivated students in research and, in the longer term, in a doctorate (research programme, thesis, CIFRE thesis). Within the more specific framework of the DNSEP - Master dual course, the objective is also to train professionals who master digital multimedia creation technologies and who work in the world of culture. Teaching is based on the articulation between different fields of competence, the main ones being multimedia creation, cultural and professional knowledge. The mastery of digital technologies provides a basis for training, mainly through the learning of reference software. The renewal of modes of representation and the multiple forms that cultural productions take today imply the training of professionals who possess both technical skills and a critical look at current production and a thorough knowledge of mediation tools for different cultural audiences (museum, gallery, creative studio, communication agency, publishing house, etc.).
